Venture Capital Development Center Founded
in December 2000, Tianjin Venture Capital Development
Center is a comprehensive institution authorized
by Tianjin municipal government to perform the role
of managing and serv-ing the venture capital field
in the whole municipality.
Entrusted by the municipal government, Tianjin Venture
Capital Development Center will be in charge of
the Tianjin Venture Capital. The Center aims at
creating a beneficial external environment for the
development of venture capital industry,regulating
the venture capital activities, assisting the construction
of venture capital institutions, and providing the
hightech industry with suf-ficient capital support.
Main Duties
Manage the Tianjin Venture Capital, foster and transform
the venture capital institutions on behalf of the
municipal government as per relevant regulations
of
industrial and commercial administration, support
the venture capital service agencies.
Organize to implement the preferential policies
concerning the venture capital activities, and supervise
and inspect the implementation.
Compile the venture capital project guidance; guide
the venture capital in terms of investment orientation.
Carry out the research and study on venture capital
strategy and policy, attract domestic and foreign
capital to invest in the venture capital market
in Tianjin.
Responsible for the professional authentication
of venture capital in Tianjin.
Organize a whole-city venture capital association
network, push forward the venture capital activities
in the district and county level, organize cooperation
with districts and counties on the industrial management,
project coordination, talent exchange etc., in the
venture capital field.
Responsible for the training on venture capital
business.
Organize and carry out international exchange and
cooperation on venture capital business.

in Tianjin, radiating to whole China and facing
the world, in accordance with the international
convention and the characteristics of Tianjin, the
Center seeks development with innovation. It operates
in a market-oriented and internationalized manner,
constitutes an effective mechanism for scientific
innovation and industrialization, so as to promote
the regular and rapid development of the venture
capital sector in Tianjin.
